Dr. Homa Karimabadi: I have over 20 years of experience in intelligent algorithms, supercomputing techniques, and strategic conception and planning. I have founded/co-founded a number of startups where I led the development of intelligent algorithms for petascale computing and knowledge discovery from Big Data with applications such as healthcare analytics. Other ventures included deep learning algorithms for analysis of medical images and patient-physician interactive portals. I have given numerous invited talks in the U.S. and abroad on a variety of topics including the future of computing and have published over 100 articles in scientific journals on a wide range of topics including numerical algorithms, machine learning, cosmology, and space plasmas, among others.
